Law Of The Jungle

I have a new story in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine. The digital version should be available now, with the print version to follow in the fullness of time (the publisher promises the kinks will be out of their physical delivery pipeline soon).

“Law of the Jungle” is another of my tales best described by its opening line:

"A night in a gorilla suit made a new man of Rich."

It's a sequel of sorts to “As You See The World,” following Mía's sad sack boyfriend, Rich, as he gets wrapped up in a Hollywood Blvd. mugging carried out by a costumed street performer, and (maybe) begins to put his life back together along the way.

If you want to see how the Walk of Stars, Sherlock Holmes, the Hollywood police department, Rudyard Kipling, and a gorilla suit all come together in a gonzo crime mystery thriller ... then Law of the Jungle has got you covered.

Thanks to EQMM for again providing a home for my work. (I trust they do not yet regret it -- much).
