The Devil Downsized

The Devil Downsized is a flash fiction story about playing a trick on the Prince of Lies, and it is available now in the Spring/Summer 2025 issue of SPOOKY Magazine.

Sadly, this is the third and final issue of SPOOKY. The publishing business is a hard dollar.

SPOOKY was dedicated to "the creepy, kooky, cozy horrors of the past." The magazine had a folk tale, Hammer Horror, and Universal Monsters vibe, which made it the perfect home for my first horror story ... though calling this a "horror" tale stretches the definition. The Devil Downsized is more like something you'd find on the Twilight Zone.

Whatever the genre, the final issue of SPOOKY is now available at Amazon.
